When Todd and Miranda Touchton contacted us about a Small Munsterlander puppy we knew we were going to be on the receiving end of their expertise. Well, in the last month it's shown-pun intended. Cedars Point is enjoying the ride and is so thankful for their investment in the breed and their companion.

Todd wrote us the day of the show and explained that Gypsy was the only Small Munsterlander in the show and she represented the breed beautifully.

NAVHDA Chukar Challenge-Todd and Gypsy Enter their First Hunting Event
Gypsy was the youngest dog in the Puppy Class which is open until 18 months of age. Gypsy was less than 10 months of age at the event. Todd explained that his intention was to use the event to aid learning and experience. Walking with judges in a new environment were his primary focus in helping Gypsy in preparation for the formal "testing" environment.
Gypsy located, pointed and held to flush on two of three birds in her 15 minute run. Todd suggested he was more than pleased with her performance. He went on to explain that the Chukar Challenge is a speed game which he's not interested in as a "type" of hunting. To do events like this regularly would be contrary to his goals. It was the experience he was after.
Todd and Gypsy Receive 2 Passes in Del Val Brittney Club AKC Junior Hunter Testing 3/23/25

Short and sweet, direct from Todd regarding Gun Dog Crackerjane's runs today: "Many great looks and conversations were had regarding Gypsy this weekend at the AKC hunt test. She performed amazingly well and her scores reflected that. She was the only Small Munsterlander entered so she had to represent the breed too.
